For the first time, the conference will be held in Rome and Viterbo, Italy, from September 14th to 16th, 2026.
After several successful editions in Sicily, SHWA is now becoming itinerant, bringing researchers together in new and inspiring locations.
Rome, with its unique history and breathtaking monuments, will host the opening events and the main conference sessions.
Viterbo, the medieval city of the Popes, will welcome participants for the technical visit, the plenary session, and networking opportunities in an authentic Italian atmosphere.
